Nice old building. Amazing friendly staff but I am Australian so not very high maintainace. Appreciated it for what it was. Comfy beds. Breakfast provided was fresh and they had coffee!! Not far from the beach and one block from a supermarket. Good value for money. A must stay!!

this hostel was weird. not many people, no atmosphere and staff were not very helpfull/friendly thats when you could find them.there was no hot water!! apart from that everything else was ok, the beds were nice, the sheets were clean, rooms were tidy amd spacious. this hostel has the makings of a good hostel just needs a bit of work.... This hotel say to you that it rents you room but in fact they rent you ticket to discotec since they organise party without advise you. It happened on 18/02/2013. all the neigbourhood called the police since the music was so loud

The vibe is good, lots of travellers and nice outdoor area to eat bfast and have drinks BUT dorms stuffy, beds uncomfortable and even a rolled up towel was more comfy than the pillow. Bathrooms are not very private either, just a shower curtain between you and the outside world.

I found that in my travels through Chile the more north I went in the country, the cheaper things got. Luckily I found Hostel La Casona to save my last pesos! We stayed only one night in this Hostel, and unfortunately found smelly rooms and beds, as well as dirty bathrooms, wich also were far to small on the ground floor. Moreover while having breakfast we saw the Cleaning personal wash their dirty cleaning stuff next to the clean dishes which made us drop our breakfast immediately.
