Punta Arenas is a harsh place and this hotel has felt mother nature. This hotel is located centrally but is in great need of an update. The carpets are worn and rooms are in 70's style with rips in the curtains and bedspread. The lights flicker, due to the wind and wi-fi connection in the room is weak or non-existent.... More

Close to the center of Punta Arenas, this hotel is very good although it looks a bit antiquate (the furniture looks being from the sixties, but this makes its atmosphere almost unique). Definitively a good hotel, comfortable beds, very clean bathroom. The restaurant of the hotel, also, is highly recommended: ask for "centolla" and you'll eat a divine specialty that... More

This hotel is def in need pf an upgrade but our room was spacious by South American standards, breakfast was great and the hotel ran a free shuttle to the hotel. Price was reasonable and free wifi made up for the somewhat tired decor. Not far from the bus station which was ideal for us after a long trip.

Although we specifically reserved a non-smoking room well in advance, we were told at check-in that a large group was being housed on the non-smoking floor and we would have smoking rooms. We were adament that we had reserved non-smoking due to allergies and asthma. I don't know if the room that we ended up with (#209) was considered smoking... More

I spent one night in this hotel, it's old fashioned and certainly needs some maintenance, but the food is awsome. I'd recommend it for a short stay.

This hotel has definitely seen better days. I stayed in room 210, at the rear of the property, for three nights. (Unfortunately it was booked by my client.) It was configured with 2 sinlgle beds and a small bathroom with a shower over the bath. The buffet breakfast was limited in choice and late and the coffee terrible. The only... More

We stayed here for 2 x 1 night (a 7 hr stay and 6hr stay) either side of transfers to Explora with difficult flight times. A complete rip off for £75 per night. The hotel has seen better days and should be avoided if possible. Its tired and dirty.

A time warp. 1970's hotel. Free broadband though downstairs. Friendly staff. Window had no view. Spotted far superior modern hotel on the main square. Acceptable for 1 night only, but certainly not for any longer. An after thought - I walked straight past entrance on arrival in PA as it just didnt look like a hotel

We stayed 2 nights (one night either side of a visit to Torres del Paine) and paid a little extra for one of their larger rooms - room 309 in both cases. Whilst the bedroom was slightly shabby it was clean and had the benefit of large windows which allowed the sun to come through which brightened everything up. Small... More

Unfortunately our stay here was part of a pre paid package and we had no option but to stay. This hotel is an absolute dump and the rates are outrageous for what you get. Stay away from buying packages from Andina del Sud, recomended by the Rough Chile guide. They sold us a first class tour and we got a... More
