Though the rooms are abit dated, this is still my choice to stay in Shenzhen. Good value and fantastic location if you want the bustle of Dongmen! The service staff was kind enough to inform me that they are undergoing major renovations but assure the room on my level will have minimal disturbance.

booked 2 rooms in metropark hotel for 2 nites...room is big which I think is usually the case for China hotels...bedroom and living room separated...double room have a bathtub but twin room does not...walking distance to Dongmen pedestrian street...easy to find food...overall, have a pleasant stay and hotel location is good...will stay there again.

This hotel is really nice. LOVE the spacious rooms and bathrooms. Location is quite good with lots of small shops nearby so finding food isn't a problem. Right opposite is a 3-storey shopping building which caters to the local community. Great location... off the main road ..with 3 story supermarket opposite....50 metres to Metro Underground Station entrance ... ...Mc Donalds across main road.....short walk to Dongman Street Markets (huge)......Clean Large room with 2 tv's,kitchen...microwave...lounge ....comfortable twin beds ....Large bathroom.Helpful staff despite language barrier.
