We stayed here as part of a tour group and found it probably the best place on the entire tour. Beds were comfortable (not hard like most locations in China), the rooms spacious and the rest of the hotel very enjoyable. Breakfast had a very good buffet as well. Well worth staying.

I usually stay at this Doubletree in Wuxi New District and always have been satisfied during my stay. Rooms are large, the beds are firm, gym is always open. There seems to be a tendency to put people up in a smoking room, even though I've always requested a non-smoking room. The desk managed to move me quickly anyway.

The hotel is in perfect condition and very clean. Is new and with very good rooms and facilities. The price is ok. Very good experience of 10 days at the Double Tree by Hilton in Gaolang Road.. Good breakfast, dinner and spa. Staff speak good english.. the only problem I found was the internet connection speed that was very slow every evening after 8pm.

This is the most Chinese 'Western brand' hotel I've stayed at. No English foreign newspapers, not even in the executive lounge. Dodgey internet connection- kept dropping- so far 8 times in the past two hours. Breakfast is okay but selection, whether Chinese or Western is only fair.
