One of the best hostels I've stayed at, excellent rooms and a really nice atmosphere to the place. Caters well to couples and families as well as those seeking dorm rooms. Good value for money, would happily stay here again.

Nice place to stay, staff are great, good vibe to communal areas, decent rooms. Location is good - in fact better than it looks on the map. We walked nearly everywhere from here (although we're walkers). Only complaint: no hot showers during the day in rooms on upper floors.

Excellently decorated with tasteful art and whitewashed brick. The music was great and staff spoke good English. Clean and pleasant. However we have a YHA hostel card which should get you 10% off the cost of a room. Unfortunately this was already factored into the online price which was a surprise. Also we ordered food twice at the restaurant and... More

Date of stay: 14/02/2013 - 15/02/2013 I stayed one night there and I regret I did not stay more longer... Unfortunately, I came very late so I didn't have time to chit-chat with other backpackers but the atmosphere looks very cool. The decoration is great, you can chill out outside in the yard or inside in the café, the public... More

3、停车不方便,门口停车会被贴条,马路对面停车每小时收费6元,第一晚就收了38元!we spent 3 nights here in a room on the 3rd floor during the Chinese New Year. The room itself appealed to me at first glance for its size, the simple-designed interior and the cozy atmosphere, and the friendly reception lady.Unfortunately it turned out to be a decision made too early and bloody stupid! Firstly, there was no hot water... More

Had a wonderful time here! The western food is really really delicious and not pricy. The staff is amazing and nice! The rooms are small but cozy. Best part was the heating system, nice and comfortable, although it was freezing cold walking one floor up to use the bathroom ;-) Best part of the hostel is its interior art design.... More

What a cool place this is. We couldn't believe our eyes at the size of the place! Out double room was as big as our flat with a kettle, sofa, shelves and three tables! The only bad thing is that the showering takes forever as there is no encased unit. You have to sit in the bath tub to avoid... More

We really liked our stay here. This place exudes the young designer-friendly culture that Chengdu is slowly developing. The space is really unique for China: comfy industrial. Large open-area with plenty of natural light is a great space for hanging out with a bit of free wifi. The staff, we found, were really nice too. Almost too nice. When we... More

We stayed two nights at the Loft. Pro: food and restaurant are of good quality. There are some design elements within the hostel, but it didn't really appeal to me and I don't consider this as important. Cons: a little bit further from the city centre. Rooms are spacious, but the bed was hard and there is some annoying noise... More

As per the name "Design" this place is very cool and quirky indeed. Staff are super friendly and the place creates a good atmosphere. Food pretty decent as well and beers not too expensive. Dorm rooms pretty good with plenty of power outlets and high roofs.
