Only stay at this hotel if you have to. Although it is well placed on the beach, the hotel is run down with only the absolute basics (bed and table) in the room. The staff is unfriendly and not too helpful.

I didn't totally love Cartagena, but if your coming here, this is not a bad spot to stay at. The service was great I will say. We stayed in the penthouse 2 nights. 3 bedrooms. bedroom 1 had king size bed and private bathroom. Bedroom 2 had 2 twins beds. We really liked staying here because not only was in directly on the beach but the breakfast was so good that all we had to do was eat an enormous meal in the morning and once more at night. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room really spacy.
