This is a good 4 star hotel, the rooms are spacious and clean, altough a little old, the breakfast is good and the staff is attentive. The location is good. I recommend it for business and for leisure.

This hotel is tired, but in a comfortable kind of way. Nothing is terribly disagreeable, just not brand spanking new. Signs are everywhere that a complete renovation might be in order to keep up with local competition. The poolside restaurant is very good, if not elegant.

The InterContinental is probably the nicest commercial hotel in Medellin. There's not TOO much within walking distance, but the bell hops are always willing to recommend places to go and call a cab over.
