First we checked in the hotel receptionist is rude make u feel like doing some favor for them all of them bust chewing gum then anything ! Was there this past weekend with family. Was kind of nervous after seeing reviews. But what I found were recently renovated rooms and bathrooms. Though the furniture is old. And room safe did not work. Overall room was spotless. Staff were extremely helpful and the location was great. Great hotel by the ocean. More

Rude staff, no wi-fi as promised (and they charge for it when it's working, come on!!, in 2012?). Noisy, noisy, noisy, did I say noisy. Won't stay hear again. More

Not impressive. Driving up there is no sign on building. Old brick bldg with no charm. Exterior needs woodwork, paint, brick cleaned. Landscaping shows signs of recent upgrading. First time staying here, was recomended by a friend. Had an ocean view room on a high floor, woke up to the sound of the waves crashing. It's in a perfect location, right across the street from the beach and boardwalk, full of resturants and shops. The room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Staff was nice and informative... I booked a double room online for $99 a night, but when I got there with 3 people they charged us an extra $20 for the third person. They also charged $10 a day for parking. There is nothing better than stumbling out of the the Paramount theatre at 1:30 a.m. into a clean, safe bed across the street. The property, and staff for that matter, could use a little polish however if they want to be considered a 4* hotel. The restaurant and bar are above average. More
