Love this place! I have been there really often for the last months. Open restaurant, in front of the lake. You may reach the beach with the hotel shuttle boat, which will take you to the other side of the lake after a 5 min ride.
Food is simple, good, and relatively inexpensive. Bedding is confortable and clean, bathrooms too....

We had a very relaxing stay at African Queen Lodge in Dec 2009. There are beautiful views across the lagoon and a boat to take you across to the beach. They have a very good sea food there! You can take a boat and cross the lagoon and than you going to find a wonderful beach.

better to take the room with view on lagoon even if bit more expensive. also try the breakfast in your room under patio just in front the lagoon, a real pleasure!
