Basic B&B, 4 blocks from the main strip. We ended here as everything else was full, but were positively surprised as the service was excellent ( owner did everything he could to please), and the rooms were basic but clean. Some troubles with the bathroom and shower. The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, but again they are trying... More

This hotel was arranged for us by Galapagos Alternative. We couldn't have been happier with it. There were three of us traveling, two adults & one thirteen year old. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a very nice view. The location was perfect for explorations into town. We felt very safe there and the owner and his wife were... More

This hotel has some positive aspects: his owner is nice (but just him, as his wife is definetly unpleasant), is logistically convenient and the size of the rooms, but that's all! The room's forniture is very simple (in one room that I saw and didn't choose there was neither the wardrobe) and surely with a low attention to the manteinance... More

We stayed there for a night and felt very comfortable. The room was huge and clean, the water hot and the ocian view great! The hotel is new and there is still some work to be done. Instead of Making zhe pool area nice with some chairs and some plants, they hyng clothes there. Too bad! However, i'm sure this... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights with my mother and sister at the end of a Galapagos cruise. The rooms are clean and spacious and we all slept very well. Luis was an excellent host and was happy to help out where at all possible. Like another reviewers said, the hotel is still a bit of a work... More

We had the best room in the hotel, A-15, which had a great view of town, as long as you don't mind the 50 stairs. We got used to it, and enjoyed the exercise. This hotel was very new, so a few problems were being ironed out. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The Verdeazul is about 5 blocks... More

This is a nice hotel, with beautiful views. The best part of the hotel is the owner, Luis. He will make sure you are taken care of the entire time you are there. The rooms are very basic and the beds are hard. There is also a one inch gap between the wall and the windows where the neighboring room... More

We stayed at VerdeAzul on our last night in the Galapagos. The owner was SO friendly. He did everything he could to make us feel comfortable and welcomed and he spoke perfect English. It was a little bit more of a walk than some of the other hotels around the area but it's still very close to the main area... More

This hotel offers good rooms, which are kept very clean. It's a short walk from the centre of town. The beds are terrific and the room has plenty of space to put your stuff. The breakfast is served at a room downstairs and it's just perfect. Also the timing of the breakfast is good, so you'll be on time at... More

A perfectly adequate hotel, clean and ran by a friendly family. Location isn't the best, but a short walk to places of interest such as the Charles Darwin Research Centre. Rooms and the breakfast provided is all quite basic, but fine for a short stay. The disappointing aspect here is that although there seemed to be only 3 couples staying... More
