Once the high end of Soviet tourism in Georgia, the INTOURIST has been thoroughly renovated. My room was large and bright and beautifully decorated. It was almost luxurious. They have a well equipped fitness room and very nice indoor pool. For people who like those things, there is also a casino on the ground floor. Don't miss breakfast. The buffet... More

The room was very clean and had wireless internet. The food during breakfast was quite good. I cannot say the same about the Italian restaurant they have at the hotel, though. The staff were friendly. However, despite the free parking in front of the hotel, there were certain men who asked for money from us constantly for the parking. They... More

My husband and I stayed here based on the Lonely Planet recommendation. Our room was very hot and the air con was broken and blew in hot. We tried opening a window but the casino and the noises from cars spinnign by made it impossible to sleep. If this was a 30 euro a night hotel in Arles I would... More

I think intourist hotel is the best hotel i've seen so far, relatively cheap and absolutely safety. a tourism office in lobby called calypso is gonna be very useful for you if you have no idea where to travel in Batumi. More

The hotel is situated nearby the state park and it is just in walking distance from the seashore. The rooms are good and modern with LCD TV's and AC. The open pool is quite clean. The staff is hepful. But the prices seems to me very high. More

Calling this a "5 star hotel" is like calling batumi Miami. It's conceivably a 3 star, but the price you pay, particularly compared to the overall costs of the region, should get you something much better, including better service and something resembling the famous Georgian hospitality which is present everywhere else in this beautiful country. They charged an impressive 65... More

Pros: -Good location just in front of the sea side boulevard, a stone's throw away from the main square in Batumi. -Standard room w/ street view is of average quality (hotel was recently renovated), bathroom OK with good water pressure in the shower, AC, flat screen TV with plenty of international channels, safe provided. -Spa area is fairly good for... The hotel itself is really ok, but service and staff were just awful, very unkind and disappointing. It could be ok in a budget hotel, yet there they claim to be at the high end, unfortunately they have no idea what it is. Wouldn't recommend at all. More

The place was very close to the sea and looked more impressive from the inside compared to the outside. The rooms were large and the service as well as the food was good. However the casino connected to the hotel was a constant source of noise until 3 a.m. in the morning. I sleep quite deeply so it did not... More

The name - Introurist - may be a slightly unwise choice, as it evokes the drab communist-era hotels that littered the Soviet Union, but that's about where the similarities end. A new, modern hotel, with very spacious rooms, a good italian restaurant, and a pool. Staff speaks English and is very friendly. The rooms are clean and definitely on the... More
