“The GOOD escape!!”

A GREAT place to stay. At first we had our doubts, BUT, when we reached the Hotel we were HAPPY to have chosen the place. Although its NOT 5 star at all, its a VERRRY Comfortable hotel, extremely hospitable staff, suoer location, walkable to practically anywhere important in Leh, GOOOOOOD food, incl the non-veg dishes. The hotel had all the services and amenities that we expected. Hotel Hill Town is a five or ten minute walk from the bazar - so close enough for convenience, but out of the noise and bustle (If only the local drivers would learn that the car horn isn't essential in every circumstance - perhaps they should be connected to the ignition so every fifth beep caused a five minute wait...
