“Relaxing and restfull break”

Recently we spent three days at the Shalimar Spice Garden Hotel in Thekkady, India. “Heaven on Earth”

It's prettier than the website, pictures don't begin to describe the green, lush, natural beauty. We went on a spice plantation tour and returned to recognize the spices out our front door. If you only can go to one place in India, I would say come here!! Be prepared to walk up lots of stairs.

“100% thekkady and just away from the tourist trap”

Shalimar spice garden is, as advertised, a "hideaway". Not in the bustling touristy streets, but up a winding hill, in an estate. “Beautiful Grounds and Good Service”

We arrived at the Shalimar after a very long windy journey from Munnar, consequently it took a while to appreciate it fully!
