The hotel has an impressive setting and the guest rooms are very spacious and well furnished. The only disappointment was the dining room. This hotel accommodates to a lot of groups who come to meals like locusts, stocking up on breakfast fruit for their next meal. The result was there was virtually nothing left on the buffet when we came... More

The palace has charm and grandeur. The rooms are beautifully furnished with antiques. The food is decent and the service obstructive. The gardens make for a very pleasant evening walk. More

This is real experience of how royalty lived. It is so peaceful and the gardens and surrounds are like another world from the real India. Staff were very average and did not live up to expectations of this lovely Palace. More

Lalgarh Palace was indeed more than our expectations. The rooms were large enough to attract the curiousity but slightly less well decorated n furnished. The best part of the hotel is its calm n tranquil atmosphere. . The staff was a little less hospitable n service lacked efficiency. On the whole our stay was nice we recommend this property for... Faded restored palace. Beautiful facade whicxh doen's live up to its promise inside. Rooms dreary, and ours stank of tobacco. Wouldn't have wanted to stay two nights. beautiful ground, and the palace next door is worth a visit to the restuarant and the "trophy room". More

Very big, clean and comfortable room. Very nice exteriors, lots of hunting and family photos line the corridors. Interior pool seemed nice but did not try it. Food was ok,but the least interesting of our 3 week trip and service for dinner was lacking. Trip to the Karni Mata temple (rat temple) was a highlight of our trip!! very special... More

Lallgarh Palace Hotel in Bikaner is definitely true to its name- unmatched jewel in the Thar Desert! Shining in the setting sun, the palace mesmerizes you and lets you breathe royalty as you walk into the gates! But the rest needs help! Condition of the rooms needs desperate corrective measures. In the name of heritage, you can't get away with... More

The grounds, lobby, and building are impressive from the outside. The room was huge with a plaque explaining the prince who used the room in the 1930s. The room had 1930s furniture or reproductions, but also seemed to have 1930s plumbing. You decide how much character you want. NO wifi and one old pricy computer. I walked 1/2 mile to an... More

The hotel is grand. Lovely gardens, large rooms, lovely verandahs and balconies - all in red stone. Service is average. Food quality varies - from good to average. Staff is courteous but neeeds to spruce up on quality of service and timliness of service. Sometimes they are a bit laid back and can take their time in serving you. Breakfast... More

This was one of the last 'Heritage Hotel' palaces that we stayed in on our trip around Rajasthan and when we arrived and saw the building we thought 'wonderful, another beautiful palace'. However, the inside of the hotel, the rooms and the service were a real let down. I know that the heritage hotels have a lot of the original... More
