“Nice to look at but...”

The grounds were lovely and the rooms were big though a little tired. Beds weren't very comfortable and we had a bad experience with the linens. We thought this place, being a palace and higher-end hotel, would have the integrity to mail our postcards but they never arrived.

Received warm welcome, the hotel was well maintained, the staff was freindly. The location was fantastic, walking distance to all the sight seeing.Fantastic view from the balcony.The breakfast was wonderful.

I had a lovely room with private balconey and a huge outdoor patio, large enough to have a cocktail party! A huge fort palace on the edge of lake Pichhola. It has various section although not much maintained but the king still lives there. Most of the area is open for visitors.
