First, i'd recommend you avoid Kuta altogether. Tacky, touristy does not begin to describe it. But if you have a late night arrival from airport and immediately leaving the next day, Surya Inn is basic and inexpensive. Plus, the owner's brother is available for tours around the island, and was actually quite nice. I'd recommend him.

Innkeeper spoken good english and we were allowed to settle payment upon checking out. Room was very big and spacious, complete with dining furnishing.
