We arrived here late at night after a free pickup from the airport. The owners wife greeted us with a refreshing fruit drink beautifully decorated. So welcoming. We stayed for 4 nights and delighted in the surroundings. Beautiful gardens, lovely breakfasts on the terrace and the use of a neighbouring pool if we needed. And yes, we did after our... More

Stayed for 4 nights. Pros: rooms are clean and area is very quiet. Emphasis on quiet and nice. Can't tell that it's just off the main street. Toiletries eg shampoo soap toothbrush shower cap were all provided for. You can use the pool at the nearby hotel, which is a few min walk away but very nice! Deck chairs n... More

So my room had no window in it! Enough said. This may is the ideal place for backpackers, partiers or folks who intend to only sleep there and nothing else etc but not my cup of tea. My room ( which was extremely basic) had a front lounge room which had windows but didn't let very much light into the... More

Kayu Sugih is located off a very attractive bamboo lined road that leads directly from the high street to 2 hotels only, so it is a pleasant, quiet and shady introduction to the hotel. Kayu Sugih is a series of bungalows based around a luscious garden in a typical Balinese set up, so of course you enter the hotel through... More

This was the first place we stayed at while in Bali and it was gorgeous. It was a little bit of paradise down "Bamboo Lane". The small grounds of the guesthouse had beautiful statues, waterfalls and complete peacefulness. Agung, his wife and all the staff were so nice. A wonderful breakfast was made for you when you were ready for... More

I stayed here for 5 days recently. I was travelling alone and wanted somewhere central and this fit the bill. Although not huge, my room was sparklingly clean with air conditioning, free wifi, a fridge and satelite TV. The bed was extremely comfortable and worthy of a 5 star hotel. The rooms all look on to a very pretty courtyard.The... More

Booked Kayu Sugih based on TripAdvisor reviews - and weren't disappointed. A great intro to Bali, Kayu Sugih is a short walk to the Sanur beach. With large, clean rooms, friendly management and staff and a very good breakfast. We booked a room online before we arrived in Bali. Sanur was our first stop, and Kayu Sugih was a perfect... More

Kayu Sugih is tucked away from the road so it's very quiet. The architecture is very nice and will make you feel like you are staying in a temple. The rooms are modern, confortable and clean. The wifi did not work for my phone. Apparently there is a shortcut to the beach but I never found it. It's not too... More

Stayed 5 nights after spending time in Ubud, the room was cool and comfortable, we had our own verandah where breakfast was served and we were served tea/coffe whenever we retrned from our day out. The breakfasts were tasty and service with Laundry and airport transfer was perfect. We used the pool in the adjacent hotel and more often, the... More
