What a wonderful stay we’ve had. A hidden gem in the hussle and bussle of Ubud but everything close by and walkable. You pass through their beautiful private temple and lush garden to get to the bungalows. Very clean and spacious with 2 balconies and comfy bed and bathroom. A nice size pool. Delicious breakfast with alot of choice that you order the night before. The staff is so nice and hospitable. I had my birthday on departure day and they made me a lovely birthday-cake and sang for me.

We spent a wonderful 5 nights at Gunung Merta bungalows. The staff were so friendly. The rooms are large and with a big balcony, overlooking the forest. There is a pool and a few loungers for the days you want to relax and read. Breakfast is wide ranging and you order it the night before. Nearby are lots of good cafes and restaurants and special mention to Delta cafe across the road. Excellent food, coffee, and pastries.

Such a beautiful little hideaway in ubud! Great location, close to town (5 mins walk, but also far enough out that once you’re sat by the Pool or on your balcony you can’t hear any of the hectic ubud traffic! Staff are amazing, breakfast is delicious and the Pool area and gardens are so peaceful. Rooms are spacious and the little balconies are a great place to chill out on with breakfast!

Really really good, was much better that we expected. Very good location (10 mins walking to the center ubud) and in a very calm area. Very nice building and bid room, perfect cleaning. Also they do the turndown service. The staff ketut and komang were superb, super eficient nice and warm. They made our stay wonderful. The breakfast is also good. We would definitely come back to this place. For the money they charge it is cheap.

The hotel has 4 rooms and 4 other rooms in progress. Let's start talking about the rooms, they were really good designed and spacious. The rooms have a balcony with great view to the nature. The room has everything you can need. Everything is clean and organized. The breakfast is really good. You can decide if you want to have it in the room or in the lobby without a cost. What a luxury! Everything was very tasty. The public areas are really clean, big gardens, fountain, pool.. Finally, what to say about the staff, really helpful and profesional. If you have any question, they have the answer. The most of them can talk English and the reception is open 24 hours. They were lovely the entire stay of 5days. The extra special thing were the story that they left at the room every night when you were outside. Nice stories about different families in Bali. Thank you for everything! I would definitely recommend this boutique hotel.

Amazing place, next time I'll stay there again for sure. My bungalow was huge, like a small apartment, with the entrance up the stairs, with two terraces, one facing the jungle and the other the garden. With a large room, a double canopy bed at the first level and a single one at the second level. There are wooden stairs inside the room for the second level. At the top is like a huge wooden window with no glass and it feels like sleeping in open fresh air, hearing the sounds from the forest. This I loved the most. Even though it is so opened, there are no insects inside. Not even one in 4 nights :) And the garden, that's the first impression: is like paradise. Breakfast was very good too, you can choose every morning from a few options like black rice pudding or fried rice and omelette, fruits. Staff is very friendly, made my staying perfect and helped me with a car and driver for tours. Overall, it exceeded my expectations.

I have travelled a bit but this is the firsrt time I have walked out of accomodation. After arriving I found it not asit was portrayed, not maintained.Very dirty and far from anywhere an area unfamiliar, that was more my fault.I caught a taxi to the centre of town,an area I had been a few times before.Found alternative accomodation, made my way back, packed my bags, and moved on.I didnt stay,I thought i could have moved the next morning,it was late, but couldnt face having a shower in the disgusting bathroom,so on I went.

We advised we would be arriving late and was hoping to take advantage of the 24 hour reception. When we arrived there front gate was closed and after probing the door we went into the grounds hoping to find the night staff. There was no one to be seen despite the 6 calls from us and our booking provider! Disappointed to say the least!
