If you need a place to stay in the Ein Gedi region, this place works. It's comfortable and there are good facilities overall - shower, bed, desk, but not much else. Everything is very clean though and well-maintained. Not much common area that is any fun to stay in - overall feels very barebones, without a good center for tourism... More

We arrived there on Saturday with no reservation, and received rooms which were not cleaned, we were of course informed about is and knew the reason for that. The room included a TV, fridge and a electric cattle. The car can be left on a parking lot. The building is not fat from the beach in Ein Gedi. In the... More

Good value for lodging at the Dead Sea by Ein Gedi. The Kibbutz hotel down the road would only accept multi-night stays, so we went ahead and booked at the guest house/hostel instead. The accomodation was clean, spacious, but bare-bones (we had a room with two bunk beds and two twins pushed together) but it did have it's own bathroom... More

Ein Gedi is more than just a vacation destination. It is a holistic experience. The kibbutz is located next to the dead sea, and it is part of the accommodation to the dead sea spa by the kibbutz. The rooms are comfortable, not luxurious (see more about room tips later). There are several dining options in the kibbutz - the... More

We (2 adults, 2 small kids) stayed in a family room with private bathroom. Room was basic but clean and more than adequate for our needs. View was outstanding and enjoyed chilling on the small balcony. Breakfast was amazing. The only negative is the dinner - very expensive and fairly bland. The problem is that there are no restaurants nearby... More

The location is a short walk to the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve, and long walk to the Ein Gedi public beach. There are no restaurants within walking distance of the hostel, except for the restaurant at the hostel (open for breakfast and usually for dinner), and the snack bar at the public beach. The food was buffet-style and reasonably good.... More

This is a typical hostel, with typically high Israeli prices. Basic hostel-type rooms, with bunk beds and small showers, but it's totally sufficient for a night near the Dead Sea. They are near to the public beach of Ein Gedi, which has a parking lot and a paved path to the top of the cliff, then it's a sandy/rocky walk... More

A beautiful location, very nice rooms (desert rooms), enough room for a family with 2 young children, good breakfast and dinner, fun and beautiful pool. don't forget to walk on the garden paths, and go for a trip at the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve.

We stayed in the Ein Gedi region for one night. We went hiking in the Ein Gedi Reserve (David's waterfall), hiking at Masada, and floating in the dead sea. The free beach is about a ten minute walk, the reserve is right next to the guest house and masada is a 10-15 minute bus ride. The room was very clean... More

We stayed here for one night to allow us time for a dead sea float on the way to Jerusalem from Eilat and overall thought it offered good value for money. The complex is clean and tidy and our room had a huge terrace overlooking the sea. We arrived early but were able to check in after a short wait.... More
