We have been to this place many times in the past and found it once again quiet and green. One of the most beautiful places in Israel though not too modern. Thr rooms have been renovated and the sea is ever so beautiful. Great place for tours in the surrounding area. The Kibbutz near by gives an impression of old Israel. More

Badly disappointed by this hotel. We concluded that it focused mainly on coach tours. Staff were off-hand (with one or two exceptions) and disinterested. We paid extra for an upgraded room which was clean enough but it wasn't anything special and in need of refurbishment - apart from a 'complimentary' half bottle of wine. Our welcome drinks voucher turned out... More

Good hotel on the Sea of Galilee It is a Kibbutz hotel. I would classify it as a "Holiday Inn" by US standards. Rooms were clean & large enough. Gounds well maintained Staff was helpful. Food was included in my package & served buffet style- good and adequate. They do have a bar and lounge area. Hotel did have FREE... More

Our group stayed here four nights of a 2-week tour of Israel. The entire facility was spotless, the food equal to, if not better than the excellent hotel we were in while in Jerusalem. The walls of the hotel section were a bit thin, but we didn't come here to spend our time in a hotel room, and when we... More

We stayed here as part of a tour group at the end of January 2012. It was ok with no frills but similarly no real negatives. We were in one of the annexes which was fine, unless it was raining, as the rooms are pretty much standard US motel type, clean and comfortable with plenty of space and an adequate... More

The hotel is actually a kibbutz right on the banks of the Sea of Galilee. It is a nice setting. Pros: The facility is clean (but dated) and well maintained. Free wifi in the bar area (but not the hotel rooms). The breakfast and dinner buffets were good. There was quite a variety of foods and they were constantly resupplied.... More

We stayed there in early December. The room was clean, appropriately but modestly furnished. The location on the Sea of Galilee on what was once a kibbutz makes it very convenient. There are " luxury" hotels in Tiberias a few miles away but in December I would not bother going there, as the city itself is not worth a stop. The... More

Guys, this is a kibbutz right by the Sea of Galilee in Tiberius. Lower your expectations and you will be pleasantly pleased. I researched on TA and was filled with trepidation before the trip. The property is quite old and relatively well-maintained. We stayed at the main wing and walking along the corridors reminds me of a dormitory :). Definitely... More

We were extremely pleased with our stay, right from the check in to check out ....we were here for 5 nights, the rooms very bight and cheery, very modern and clean, the staff helpful and pleasant, the food was very good with a bountiful breakfast. I would most definately recommend the Ginosar and would stay again. More

My family spent the entire week of Passover at Nof Ginossar in April 2011. Admittedly, this is one of the most crowded times in any hotel in Israel, with huge, entire families travelling together to spend long vacations in the countryside. But it is precisely at such a time that one can test the real capacity of a hotel. The... More
