Once you find the hotel, you have to drag your luggage up a hill to the hotel. Once inside we were greeted by a gracious host, so far, so good. Loved the eclectic and colorful decor. Our rooms were large, comfortable, clean, with the added bonus in the Palacio room of a roomy private balcony. Everything about this boutique hotel exceeded my expectations. My room was comfortable and beautiful. The service was first rate. I enjoyed relaxing in the lounges. Fruit , cookies and drinks were available at all times. The location in Safed is perfect
