My now husband and I stumbled upon this lovely location when we had decided to redo our entire wedding plans due to some family health issues. We initially toured the place and I fell in love with it. The owners, Pat and Dave, are two of the nicest people you will meet and I can't fully describe how wonderful they... More

I am writing this review as I often refer to Trip Advisor for honest comments. I am wondering how the other guests did not mentioning the large, dark cobwebs that are all over the inside of the inn. As they are so large that they must have been there for some time. They were in my bedroom and bathroom, hanging... More

This is a beautiful, comfortable and welcoming inn, right on the Erie Canal. You couldn't get any closer. From the entrance foyer to the breakfast room, sitting room and front porch, we just wanted to sit down and make ourselves at home. Innkeepers Pat and Dave are friendly and appear to treat all guests as special visitors in their home.... More

I stayed one night at the Adams Basin Inn with my dad during our bike tour of the Erie Canal. I can not say enough good things about this charming inn! The owners, Pat & Dave, are meant for this! ... friendly & extremely knowledgeable with history lessons here & there about the fascinating one time tavern situated right on... More

This is a lovely small, 4 rooms, B&B. The innkeepers are warm and delightful to talk with. There is a great gas stove to read next to. The tavern and dining room are refinished from the actual 1800's and we had cookies and hot cider in the evenings. Breakfast was wonderful and they were very accommodating with my food allergies.... My wife and I went to Adams Basin Inn for our anniversary. There were several reasons why we selected Adams Basin. We both love to bicycle and kayak. The proximity to the Erie Canal provided us with easy access to both. Aside from enjoying the bike trail and canal, I have to say that after staying at numerous B&Bs, this... More

Pat and Dave were marvelous hosts. It was like spending time with old friends we hadn't seen in a while. Pat made reservations for us at Grandpa Sam's in Spencerport - another reason to return just to try something else on the menu. They also called a local bike shop to check on hours of operation, and we had this... More

We rode the Erie Canal trail from Lockport to Newark and back and this was our favorite spot. Right on the trail with a beautiful location. Cute little hamlet with no businesses but Dave and Pat will drive you into Spencerport for dinner (Texas BBQ-yum). After staying in 5 B&Bs - this was our favorite. The most welcoming, historical and... More

We stayed in the Milliner Room at the Adams Basin Inn in late June during a bicycle trip down the Erie Canal tow path. What a wonderful time we had. Dave and Pat, the inn keepers were most hospitable. Every room in the inn is beautifully decorated with antiques and local artifacts. Dave and Pat are wonderful cooks. The multiple... More

We traveled through many canal towns from Albany to Lockport over the course of five days. The Adams Basin Inn was certainly the most authentic place we stayed. The inn is owned by very enthusiastic owners who love their home and the history of the canal. The breakfast was fantastic and the accommodations very comfortable and clean.
