“Clean rooms, friendly owner and value for money!”

The owner is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are reasonably spacious, clean and well-equipped. Honestly, in terms of the price, the place is steal! At the end of the lane, just round the corner, you even have the option of hiring bicycles and roaming the town...was a lot of fun! There is also a queue of bars and restaurants... More

“Really helpful owner, simple nice rooms”

It's ten minutes walk from the beach, and ten minutes from the main strip, but it's simple clean and nice. The best bit is definitely the helpful owner who can tell you lots. Rooms are good value, but you get what you pay for! They are a bit dark and hot, but there is a verandah with chairs.

“Amsterdam resort a little oasis in Khao Lak”

The Only Down side is that it has no pool but you don't need one when the sea is calm en warm! Good value for your money, The owner helps you perfect with planning daytrips.

“Lovely Little Place”

Khao Lak is beautiful. We stayed at Amsterdam Resort for 3 days and it was great. Kees was very helpful & drove us all over the place. We had a huge room with 2 massive beds...should've booked air-con (hindsight is a great thing!) but the fans in our room were still great. Close to the beach & local shops/restaurants...the climb... “kees runs a great budget spot”

Stayed with the only other Kees I've ever met. my names Case too. Bungalows are average, however price is cheap. Kees can help you with everything you need as he gets the lowest prices around. Would stay here again. disclaimer. if you go to similan islands make sure u stay overnight as all the tourists leave and it is amazing!!!

The owner is very helpful and cannot do enough for you. A very nice man. The huts/rooms were a tad on the worn out side.This area of Khao Lak was very disappointing. After one night we got in the car and drove on to much better (& cheaper) places...

The resort is at the far north of Khao Lak, and a short walk to the beach. The beach is OK but nothing special. The road from the resort to the main road is like running the gauntlet of "no I don't want a suit" "no I don't want a massage" - and "no I don't want a taxi". Blinking... More

This very positive review is much appreciated. One minor point though: the windows in the non airconditioned rooms CAN be closed, though sometimes this might be a bit difficult when they have been left open for a long time. It is a pity the guest writing this review did not ask me to take care of this problem. More

The resort has bungalows with A/C and fan at budget prices and it's in a quiet location around 200 meters from Bang Niang beach.
