The owners of Ban Sabai Sabai treated us no less than royalty. I would get back there tomorrow if I was able to do so. Food was the best Thai I've ever eaten prepared with fresh ingredients daily and the acomodations were super comfortable with an old world charm amid the beautiful tropical gardens and fountain. Orchids blooming everywhere! We... More

Booked for two nights as part of our 19 day tour of bangkok, stayed for an extra night thanks to the great hospitality and wonderful food provided by Luann. Stuart is certainly one of a kind and his stories from around the globe make for a great night sat around their outside kitchen with Bear and Blackie (AKA snake guard)... More

I had a 5 day ‘time-out’ at Ban Sabai Sabai this winter and it was very therapeutic. After a week in hectic Bangkok, it was a 2 hour ride back in time to rural Thailand. I called Stuart on a cell phone and he directed me right to his gate. The gated resort is spacious and nicely landscaped. The restaurant... More

Sometimes a place is more about those intangible qualities that you can't rate. To me something as simple as a hammock in a country style wooden loft is more Thailand than anything you will find in a fancy hotel. The grounds are nice and green. The host has a great appreciation of plants and all matters pertaining to horticulture. How... More

Stuart is back in town and BanSabaisabai is opened again. Recently I stayed 6 days in Kanchanaburi and dropped in to see if his Sunday BQQ was still going and it was, so I booked in and stayed a few nights. The Sunday BQQ is a must, absolutely beautifully cooked meats, this time Deer, Pork ribs and chicken was on... More

we would both recommend Ban Sabai Sabai to any of our friends and family, we felt at home and truely relaxed, so much so that we didnt want to come back to the uk, luan made us a vast selection of Thai food, and made a killer Massaman, we would sit by the outdoor kitchen drinking and sharing stories with... Must be about my 4th or 5th time I have been to Ban Sabai Sabai and have enjoyed seeing the beautiful garden develop over the last few years. This is a great place if you like to be off the beaten track and want to experience the ambience of rural Thai life. A short walk from Stuart's delightfull property take... More

Spent 3 memorable days enjoying the company of Stuart and Nong Bua. Great place to see the sights of Kanchanburi and experieincing life in a small Thai community. Stuart treats you like a family member not a guest.Unfortunately anyone visitng in the next 6 months will miss the experiience of Ban Sabai Sabai as Stuart has been blessed with a... More

We came across Ban Sabai Sabai on Trip Advisor and after reading several reviews we decided to stay there for two nights. We travelled as a family of 5 (2 adults + 3 Children) and stayed in the air-con house. Stuart supplied extra bedding and mattresses on the floor for the children to sleep (at no extra cost). The house... More
