The hotel is trying very hard to be a boutique hotel, The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom is ok, but nothing special. Rooms have flat screen Tvs,Phone mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on, whilst I was there the night time activities were boardering on... We arrived Udon Thani and found the Prajaktra Hotel to be in a great location near the park. It is only 2 years old and is in very good condition. The hotel staff was very friendly and we found our king room to be spacious and comfortable. Rooms have tiled floor and the bathroom is very large. The Wi-Fi Internet... More

Stayed with my wife in the delux room for 1 night @ 2400 Baht for a shopping trip while in Udon. Bathroom was very big and had a great shower.the room was very clean & comfortable with a decent size LCD & the bed was good. Complimentary breakfast was good and overall it was a good stay.Only inconvinence is that... More

I stayed here overnight on the way to Vientiane and stopped over in Udon for primarily shopping. The hotel is cheap and comes with clean room. The room was basic but staff were helpful. The hotel is not very costly and bed was ok. I did not have chance to taste the food in the restaurent but the breakfast was... More

Nice room with decent bathroom. 4th floor bar and restaurant quite nice with great view. Unfortunately I found that the hotel emergency lighting doubles as the main room lighting. Therefore at 1.00 am all the lights came on in room due to a power outage , lasting about 2 hours. Otherwise would give 4 stars. More

Stayed there for a couple of nights and I was dissapointed. For the Thai conditions it is an expensive hotel, with all additional services (drinks in the bar, restaurant, etc.) costing much more than in some 4* places in Bangkok. This place calls itself 'Design' hotel, but I have no idea what it actually means. There was nothing 'design-like' about... More

Having stayed in several different hotels in Udon Thani, I'd have to say that The Prajaktra Design Hotel is one of the nicer hotels in the city. While far from perfect, and perpetually unfinished, the Prajaktra is a clean and stylish alternative to the many terrible hotels in Udon Thani. More

Last year I did also stay at this new hotel and at that time it was far from finished. And although there is still no swimming pool (but they told me when I made a reservation) there are improvements like the buffet breakfast has improved much, the rooftop restaurant & bar has improved and in the "standard" room we had... Stayed here for 2 days at the end of March in a Superior room and agree with the last reviewer...the floor plan and layout of the rooms are terrible. There is no separate bathroom as the shower (using frosted glass enclosure) and sink are right in the room next to the bed. Thankfully there is a door to a separate... More
