Stayed here in April. Weather fantastic and the hotel was nearly empty so should be ideally welcoming for tourists but does not manage it. Furnishings tired, service slow, desk staff unhelpful and inconsisitent - eg 'No you cannot have a late check out, we are very busy' but 5 hours later the place is deserted. Air conditioning pumps out hot... More

we have a conference in Hammamet and we are staying in le royal. Hammamet is a small town in tunisia, a beach resort. it is 70km south of the capital, Tunis. closeby sites include el-djem, soussa, qayrawan. hammamet is very calm, the hotel is big and spread out, so there is enough space for everybody. It is clean, comfy, and... More

The seafront hotel, is an average 5 star with nice room, but the food is definetely to be improved!!! For the rest, the location within Jasemine (a new build area with a nice marina and many hotels) is good, for what it can be good there, to be honest is not the nicest in the world!! More

We have been in the royal for a week end and the price upon arrival was really different from the reservation made over the phone. The responsible of reservation was quite rude ( I have been treated of a liar, and it seems inconceivable for a client realtionship manager.... there is a lot of improvement to be done in this... I stayed here for a conference in May 2010 for a week. This hotel grew on me (although I wouldn't call it a five star). It's set up like a lot of resorts, with a main building and the majority of rooms in outbuildings around it. I was in one of these outbuildings, on a ground floor room. I wasn't... More
