Reading some of the other comments I have to agree this hotel ticked all the boxes for us. Modern clean, in the heart of Izmir waterfront, staff were extremely friendly and obliging nothing was to hard. Highly recommend and if possible ask for a balcony room you won't be disappointed.

It is not the first time I stay at the Kordon. The views onto the bay are great. Centrally located you can walk along the waterfront, or take a ferry to the other side. The restaurant was excellent. The staff, although reserved at times, are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

The hotel is in the heart of Izmir. Very close to Swissotel and Movenpick. It's more or less in their standars and in a reasonable price. The rooms are quite big and very well decorated. There are various types of nice restaurants in walking distance. The breakfast room is very small and narrow. Rest is very good.
