Hotel Forest Gate is a quiet place just next to the forest. Very comfortable sleep in the night. Also great swimming pool and bar. Restaurant is good. Fresh local food. There appears to be a mixed bag of reviews for the Forest Gate Hotel. Our experience was excellent. The staff were attentive without being obtrusive, the room was basic but clean with fresh towels and bedding every day. Breakfast was included which was perfectly adequate and the staff accommodated my request to swap the bread and cheese for fresh fruit.... More
