This place is beautiful with relaxed vibe, nice kitchen and awesome garden. With a bakery few doors down, couldn't be more perfect. I also wonder whether uruguay has legalised marijuana so the bob marley cookies they sell at the reception will have any additional ingredient in the near future.

Hostel wasn't far from the ferry terminal so was good, everything was fairly standard, the guy who greeted us when we got there was nice and helpful, breakfast is very average, as a whole there was nothing special about this hostel

Colonia is a small town (village) with ferries to Buenos Aires (1 hour) and close to Montevevio (2.5 hrs). Safe and friendly town.
