Me and my family stayed in 3 different room last weekend and the young man at the front desk Lewis was amazing. He helped us find activities to do with our kids and was very knowlegable about the location. When I complained about the room smell, he treated me with repect and did his best to solve the problem. We stayed at this hotel for 1 night on a shopping trip. It was clean, quiet and cheap. It's old and a little threadbare, but we weren't looking for swanky - we wanted a cheap place to overnight. This hotel fit the bill. Would I choose to vacation there? Probably not. Would I stay there again for another shopping trip?... More

My wife and I stayed at the Extended Stay America Buffalo - Amherst for one night while doing some shopping in the Niagara Falls, NY area. This hotel is old and dated in terms of decor and appearance. However, our room was reasonably clean and comfortable. This hotel has a laundry room and each room includes a kitchenette. Internet is... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 1 week on business starting Sept 5th, 2011. Upon arriving we noticed the foyer looked very shabby and the carpet needed repairing, seams opened up in many places and very worn. Our hotel room was equally dated and to top it off there was no fan in the bathroom. Everythime we... More

I stayed here for the NY Bar exam at Buffalo. This review revolves around a bar taker's take on the hotel. 1. Tranquility This is in a very quiet section of town. I holed up in the room like in solitary confinement from friday till wednesday for the bar exam. I requested a third floor room and got one facing... More

We just got back from ESA Amherst. Good location. Close to freeway, Boulevard Mall, many restaurants, Target, and grocery stores. We did our research before going. We knew there would be no shampoo in rooms, etc. We only stayed 1 night - so we didn't care about the "once a week maid service." The room was clean, bathroom clean (but... More

Got this hotel cheap on Priceline and stayed with another adult and 2 babies. Room was average, not large but big enough for 2 pack n' plays. The kitchenette was handy for baby food etc, although, it would have been nice if there was some dish detergent as there are a few dishes you can use. There was nothing "wow"... More

Not sure why this place is called a "Hotel." 2Star? WOW, what would a 1 star look like?? The entranceway was FILTHY. We were not even in the door and already were disappointed. No newspapers, not even a newspaper box. No ice machines, just dirty ice cube trays in the dirty freezer full of crumbs and hair. 19" tube tv... More

As a business traveler, I use ESA hotels a lot. They are usually very reasonable rates, nice & clean. This place was the highest rate I have ever paid (because its close to Niagara Falls area Im guessing) The room its self was clean enough, not great. The public areas such as hallways, elavator & stairwells were FILTHY! The window in my... More
