Traveler beware! I THOUGHT I'd booked at this hotel, only to arrive there and find I'd actually booked at Chisun Inn Nagoya Sakae... a sister hotel 5 subway stops away and NOT close to the main station as was our plan...argh! Not sure how it happened, perhaps many sites came up for the chisun nagoya hotel and I did not...

After visiting tokyo last winter, i decided to visit Nagoya with friends this spring in April to catch the cherry blossoms. I stayed for 9nights in Chisun Inn and this is indeed a very good hotel given the price ( i paid around $500usd for 9nights per person).
The hotel is located within a 3minute walk from the Nagoya Station....

I stayed 1 night there during Jan 2012. The price was good (6000 yen for a twin room). It is close to JR Nagoya station. I think it is about 5 mins walk. It is easy to recognize the hotel because of its color and shape. I ordered bmobile data sim card beforehand with hotel's address as the delivery address,...

The hotel is clean and room is not too small. I had semi double room and two persons can sleep okay. The lobby looks very new and modern but the room is ordinary.
The hotel is closed to JR Nagoya station (only 10 min walk) however most shopping areas are in the other side where Meitetsu station lies so if...

We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel during the Suzuka F1 Grand Prix and we paid 2/3 more for a basic double room.
Location is good as it is within 5 min walk to Nagoya JR station with lots of eateries and shops close by.
Room size is adequate but the table is quite small, so those who need...

Walking in the corridor you would think it would be extremely a small room but it was not. Surprisingly it was not as tiny as I expected. In fact, it was a good size (husband...

The Chisun Inn is a good cheap option given its location if you're just passing through. It's a no frills place, the rooms are very small but to rest for 8 hours and move on it's fine for £50. If you're planning to explore Nagoya the station area is actually a bit ropey so it's not a good location for...

Been to the Chisun Inn a few times now, and have never had cause to complain. One time I lost my key and had to pay for that, but that's hardly something I can complain anyone else for.
The location is very good, just 4 minutes walk from Nagoya station and within touching distance of major shops and restaurants (especially...

The room of the hotel are relative small, but clean and tidy.
The sound isolation is not good.
My room face to street and a bit noisy.
