A lovely hotel, close to the bustling train station which has everything you might ever need. Breakfasts were great and the comfort of not sleeping on a mattras that resembled a futon was welcome by this western ttourist.

This is a beautiful hotel located just across the street from the new, modern bus station - and it is connected by an underground tunnel. The public areas are beautiful and spacious. The rooms are very nice and a generous size.

very pleasant hotel with good comfortable rooms and good quality bathrooms. Very "international" as you'd expect from a chain with all the amenities and comfort to go with it. Excellent lobby on top of a shopping area with restaurants etc.
Good buffet breakfast with a wide range of food.

This hotel ticks all the boxes. It is a 5 minute walk from the train station and the Kanazawa Loop bus stop. The foyer makes a bit of a statement with beautiful furnishings giving you that sense of arrival. Our room was spacious and well appointed and had great views to the Kenrokuen Gardens and the mountains. Love the chaise...

I had a wonderful time at the Hotel Nikko. They were very accomodating and conveniently located in Kanazawa City. Just 1 1/2 blocks to the train station and shopping. The view from my room on the 17th floor was lovely. The restaurant on the top floor was wonderful, for both breakfast and evening meal.

Very attentive concierge who accompanied us to the room to demonstrate how we needed the room key to access the floor. Our request for a high floor, non-smoking room away from the lifts was definitely met as we were on floor # 28, the highest in the hotel, with excellent views. (Luxury floor twin room) There was however a smoky...

This is a nice modern hotel with decent size rooms, good views and located close to the station. Overall the hotel was well maintained and looked newly refurbished. It's literally just across the road from the station so easy to get to.
If I was heading to Kanazawa again I'd be very happy to stay here again and would bother...

The Hotel Nikko Kanazawa is one of about ten hotels grouped around the Kanazawa central train station, but not a walk if you have luggage. The front desk is cooperative but not very active or informative on what's doing in Kanazawa. Within the hotel the Chinese restaurant is very good but the highly rated Grand Chariot is dull and expensive...

I stayed for one night only, at the beginning of October.
The room was large, by Japanese standards.
The bed was extremely comfortable, with normal sized pillows (not always found in Japan)
I was on the 26th floor and had spectacular views all the way to the ocean.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. Late check out at 12pm was...

We stayed at this hotel in Febuary 2010. This hotel has a great location right across from the train station. The hotel has a perfect mix of modern, formal and casual all at once. There was also one of my favourite restraunts in Japan nearby, the sushi go round on the top level of the train station mall.
