We stayed at this hotel March 12 & 13, 2011 - after experiencing the massive earthquake in Japan on March 11, 2011. It was absolutely fabulous. The service was above average and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable.
The dinner experience both nights was the greatest. A fabulous way to experience true Japanese tradition.

We stayed on a Monday because we were avoiding the weekend crowds. It worked because we were the only ones using the baths. We got a traditional Japanese Tatami Room rather than the western style.
