I stayed in this hotel overnight on my trip to Tokyo. It has a nice spa section with the famous hot springs, but other than that, there's not much this hotel can offer. The rooms are very much outdated, the breakfast does not offer a great selection and the staff clearly needs some additional resources when the hotel is full. More

Stayed here for 1 night on a tour of Japan. An excellent hotel, quiet and comfortable. The gardens were lovely. Sadly, the weather was poor and we couldn't see the view. A great place to stay when visiting the other attractions in the Hakone area. If you travel from Tokyo make sure you get the pass that covers all the... More

We stayed here for one night as we stopped over in Hakone to do some sightseeing and visit the rather crazy Yunessun Spa World. Proximity to Yunessun was excellent of course, and it was very easy to book tickets to this attraction through the hotel. The rooms are in desperate need of renovation, as they are salmon pink western style... More

Simple nice hotel, not the newest in the block, but it's simple, rooms are big for Japanese standards, there's a family mart 2 minutes walk down the road and surrounding views are beautiful. Bus stop is just across the road of the hotel. And yes, i would stay here again :) More

Probably my favorite Hakone hotel thus far. Staff is quick and courteous. Do ride the local train in if you have a chance. Best is during the day as the scenery is wonderful. Local Train station is nearby hotel. A little to hilly and far to walk, but some do. Via taxi is only about $10. The only drawback is... More

We stayed overnight at the hotel as part of our 9 day japan jtb sunrise tour. The hotel has good rooms. However i found it deceiptful of the staff to push their inhouse 5500yen per person buffet restaurant (around 80usd) stating that this was the only option and there is nothing else except mountains in the surrounding. guess what, we... The first thing you'll notice when you come here is the beautiful setting of the hotel coupled with luxurious spacing. There's a huge garden and free steam bath so if you have time to spare I suggest you take a break and just relax at the hotel. The rooms are all woody which gives a cozy smell to the entire... More

The room we had was small and they only had twin beds, We did not care about this as the view from our window was amazing. The lovely garden and the back drop of the mountains. The meals were expensive but the service was very good. The walk in the evening through the Japanese Garden made it a most enjoyable... More

during our stay in this hotel, we had two terrible experiences. the bed-making was so poor as if they hadn't touched it the previous night(s). also some disposable shaving razors were dirty with old men's beards! we believe they use them repeatedly. we claimed them but they didn't admit. abhorribel experiences! other services were not bad. Hello, we made a last minute reservation through a 3rd party and stayed here for a night last weekend. During the reservation I was asked who the second person would be, I gave a name, and was then asked whether she was my wife !!! I was shocked and due to language gap I said she is Japanese and he...
