Stayed here on a recent business trip. My room was large by Japanese Standards and had a great view of Yokohama Bay. The area around the hotel has it's plusses and minuses. From the plus side, it's quieter than being downtown in Yokohama. I absolutely loved jogging around the waterfront ... one of the best runs I've had in recent... More

I was at the Intercontinental Grand for 8 nights. The check-in process was long. The line was ridiculous and the front desk wasn't fully staffed even though it was clear that there was a crowd of people waiting to check in. Once we finally got up there, the view from our room was wonderful. The room, however, was tiny. It... More

This hotel is beautiful to look at from the outside, especially at night. It is in a good position, but you'll need to use public transportation to reach the Yokohama chinatown. The room we've been assigned was ample and comfortable, with a beautiful view of Yokohama and the nearby panoramic wheel. In the room you'll find everything you'd expect from... More

I've been several times in this hotel because it is very confortable and it has a great view. The location is good and you can walk to a nice shopping center or take the ferry to Yokohama station. The only problem is that the rooms and the bathrooms are a little bit old. The staff is always very nice and... More

I travel to Yokohama on business fairly often so efficiency, friendliness, comfort, and cleanliness are important to me. InterContinental Yokohama Grand provides all these things with no fuss. The rooms are very spacious by Japanese standards and the view over the harbour is quite spectacular. The hotel staff have a moderate to good grasp of English, but they err on... More

A great hotel in the middle of Minato-Mirai 21. Adequately sized rooms, luxurious, clean and convenient. Nice bathroom, good water pressure. Internet access is via LAN cable - so it won't help iPad and iPhones which require WiFi access. The building is in the shape of a sail - set in the Pacifico area where the exhibition halls are. The... More

I have stayed here more times than I can remember for business, usually around a week at a time. All the hotel staff are helpful, in a typical Japanese way. Check-in is usually very efficient. The rooms vary a lot - there are some smaller ones on lower floors, but I usually try to stay on the upper floors with... More

Stayed here in March 2012 and this was my second time at the intercontinental Yokohama Grand. The hotel is modern, clean, luxurious, with great staff, lots of restaurants, plus has easy access to several attractions nearby. If you are staying and you're bringing your laptop, you will find a network cable in your room which gives you fast (and free)... More

This hotel is top of the line. The hotel is beautiful inside and out with outstanding views from just about every angle. Weddings are common inside the hotel .. it's that nice. The room was large and very comfortable. Excellent, polite service. You can't go wrong with this hotel. The meals are quite expensive, though, as they are in many... More

The room has one of the most beautiful view and, for the first time, I enjoyed sleeping with the curtain open. Unfortunately, this is a very Japanese oriented hotel as can be seen on the hopelessly limited English TV channels and the instruction for using remote control is challenging to understand for a foreigner.
