Arriving late at night after a flight from Sydney to Tokyo and then to Fukuoka before traveling on to the countryside early the next morning, the Comfort Hotel was just a perfect place to stay the night. The beds were nice and firm and the sheets not nasty synthetic and the doona cover light but ever so warm. Of course... More

For travelers it is important to recharge your many electronic gadgets during your stay at the hotel but the wrong setting of the extended socket displeased me as all of them are nailed to the wall in a reverse position where I could not put the plug onto the extended socket. I could only inconveniently recharge the battery one thing... More

I stayed there, because I planed to keep my baggage at the hotel and get it back after travel. But the hotel said it could not keep the baggage because of the power-out. So I put my baggage to coin locker in the station. Breakfast eating place is not the restaurant but only open lobby. More

We stayed one night at the Comfort Inn Hakata because it was a convenient location to the station for our late arrival from Nagasaki. We were able to get a spacious room with four beds for 20,000Yen. which was outside our budget but was only for one night. A guest laundry on the 14th floor was a great convenience Staff... More

** Disclaimer I was at a twin room on a non-smoking floor, facing the streets. Dunno about any other rooms. **Location Location is great. The metro that connects straight from the airport and the rest of the city is just across the street, and so is the bus terminal that can take you to the spa places like kurogawa and... More

This hotel is fine, with friendly staff, comfortable beds and good shower. Breakfast is included. Only problem was a smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom from the floor below. It's right opposite Hakata station (the pedestrian crossing plays "Comin' through the rye") so it's just what you need when you've staggered off your flight and taken the subway (2nd... More

I recently stayed here for 1 night during a trip to Japan. I didn't want to spend a lot, and I wanted a location as close to the JR Hakata station as possible so I could put my luggage down straight away and explore the city of Fukuoka. Well the Comfort Hotel was perfect for this - you walk out... More

I booked this hotel is because of its convenient location to the rail station but was very disappointed of the quality. The room was very worn out, paint on walls and furniture were scratched, even the light bulb was blinking. It was not worth the price I paid, and I realise there were plenty of other hotels located around the... More

This was my second stay at this hotel. It's located right across the street from the Japan Rail Hakata train station, extremely convenient. My room was clean and pleasant. The carpet design looked like a 1960's primitive abstract pattern; I really liked it! There are a couple of computers in the lobby for guest use, so you can check e-mail.... More

Hotel is nothing special but very convenient for Hakata station. Suited us fine as were caughting an early train. If you are just stopping a day or two and just want somewhere to sleep then this hotel is ideal. Hotel leaflets show the easiest walk to Canal City (10-15 minutes) where we found a good choice of restaurants although we... More
