Tucked back off the road in Akiu Onsen, is the New Mitoya - absolutely my favorite stop anywhere around Sendai. There isn't one single item associated with this hotel that is not Excellent - the staff, cleanliness, location, food, decor, and especially the baths! A wonderful way to spend your time and money.
