Food from room-service was amazing! But it is definitely a local 5 stars, don't expect too much from the room specially in the bathroom : finishes not finished, WC not really fixed on the wall, curtains hanging and not closing properly, air-con with hot air only... But interesting heating from the walls in the bathroom!

I stayed at the Dostyk Hotel on a business trip. The hotel is promoted as a five star, but as hotels go this should be rated a two star. The service standards are poor and facilities even worse. The bathroom only had a shower, no separate bathtub/shower as five star hotels normally do. No tea/coffee making facility in the room....

The rooms' digitaly regulated electricity and electronics went wrong so the light started switching on and off few times during nighttime. Also, don't forget to...

Super hotel, staff is outstanding, rooms/common areas all of high quality (except Business Centre, so plan accordingly).

We had chosen the hotel due to it's great location near the old embassies. The hotel looked great from the website but when we arrived we found that the pictures didn't do the hotel justice. Apparently the hotel has recently undergone a massive renovation which...

The former communist party hotel received a facelift, but the service is bad. Bellboys watch and wait while you drag your luggage up a set of stairs into the lobby. Breakfast menu is limited, with rude or indifferent service. Watch your step for cables strung across the floor to serving stations. The company put me into this hotel, but I...
