I'm not a favourite of the all-inclusive formula. This hotel however offers a fantastic combination of nice (not luxurious) rooms, very good food (combinition Italian-African) and an extremely friendly staff. I'll go back for sure !!

Hotel is located next to 3 other hotels from same chain. Diamonds malindi is a very authentic and relaxing hotel with only 23 rooms, thus we are max. 46 people. We were only 20 in the hotel so we were ver familiar with each other.
Rooms are clean, the cleaning staff comes twice a day to do the bed and...

Having promised ourselves never to book an all inclusive hotel again, we were a bit apprehensive. This hotel is the best all inclusive we´ve ever stayed in. It is not a modern hotel but old style. It is clean and has fantastic staff who pamper you. Food is great with some buffets but mainly table d´hôte. It is a quiet...

At Tropical's you leave the main road and enter a bumpy sideway which brings you to the front door of the Malindi Beach Club, which at the time of booking was advertised as the hotel Diamonds Malindi Beach. The absence of the "diamonds" and the not very inviting front gate, make you expect the worst. An old stone path leads...

The hotel was quite nice but the beach wasn't great as there is so much seaweed. The food was pretty good but at times it felt a little like being at camp the way its set up. It's not very pricey and it's worth what you pay. Overall enjoyed it but wouldn't go back.

My husband-to-be and I had a pre-honeymoon at the Malindi Beach 17 Feb - 3 March and we can't wait to go back! Everything about it was absolutely perfect. I'm astonished by some of the derogatory reviews. This is not my first experience of 5 star hotels, and we're both discerning travellers, but really - I don't know what some...

This hotel, operated on an all inclusive basis, is excellent value for money. The public areas are beautifully decorated and create an unique afri-arab-chic atmosphere. It is the high quality, friendly service that makes this hotel special. The location is fantastic. It is one of the only hotels on Malindi beach that has a pool so close to the beach....

We were in this hotel in October 2006 and it was perfect . Now we returned here and we were disappointed. It is not worth five stars anymore. The building is not maintained, everything need to be painted and refreshed. Before, the fence in the restaurant was cleaned every day, now it is dirty and rusty. Toilets at the restaurant...

Indian Raj meets North Africa, is the general architectural feel of the Planhotel Malindi Beach, the only problem being, they met in the 1950’s and that is where the hotel has stayed ever since. Maintenance appears to have been carried out on a minuscule budget; repairs are superficial, temporary, and botched. No matter how many layers of ‘white-wash’ are plastered...
