Very basic resort with limited amenities. The staff, tho friendly spoke very little English. There was no toaster, convention oven, glasses, knives or basic kitchen equipment. These were listed on our booking sheet as being there. You had to stand in a very old, slippery bath to have a shower. They have tried to renovate some parts and furniture was fairly comfortable . One bonus was the resort next door was amazing so we visited it for brekky, food and a swim. We booked tours next door too.

I would rate the Perdana greatly rundown and this is probably as a result of Covid? Very run down. We did have clean sheets and clean towels and that's about it as far as clean. It's called Beach Resort but to get to a beach you go through the parking garage and then if the gate is open on adjacent property you can go through and walk on the lovely grounds there. The swimming pool at Perdana is not bad but the one next door that is infinity is lovely. I would not book here again.

We came here due to a week being available on our timeshare. After 24 hrs travel from NZ - including airport waits we arrived at middayish. Last meal had been on international flight the evening before. We were looking forward to a nice relaxing lunch. When I asked if the "resort" not a resort had a restaurant, I was told no and it's Ramadan so nothing's open. Well, I know Langkawi is a tourist hot spot, so there are lots of non Muslim tourists, therefore there must be places to eat. We found a taxi driver who could speak English and we were taken to Cenang beach where there are lots of restaurants. Apartment had one leaking toilet, no hot water for one shower. Poor wifi. Not many items in kitchenette e.g. no knives for normal usage, no drinking glasses, nothing to cook on or with, only microwave. Thin curtains and lighting on in walkway all night There is NO BEACH - that's a lie to draw you in. There are no restaurants, cafes or bars in walking distance. We left after one day and moved to a lovely not expensive hotel near Cenang Beach. We didn't come all this way to sit in that Perdana dump, so we cut our losses so we could enjoy a wonderful holiday in Langkawi. Timeshare co. Will be advised to remove this place from their books, it's the worst we've ever come close to!

The trip was with elderly and kids. This place is more like an apartment than a hotel/resort, maybe they should improve on the outlook of the building, it looks kinda old compared to the resort next to it. Overall my stay here was quite pleasant and the unit I booked was spacious, it came with two bedrooms with separate toilets. There's only air conditioning in the bedroom, common areas such as the living room and kitchen are only ceiling fans, but this was fine as we spent most of the time outside. I think minor improvements on the furniture would be added value. The sound proof needs to be improved too as we could awake without alarm easily in the early morning, maybe due to it facing the main road. The staff were friendly and provided all the information to us. Location is just 10 minutes away from the airport, I would suggest renting a car for easy travel around because the tourist spots like Tanjung Rhu, Cenang Beach, Kuah Town, Cable Car, Skybridge are more than 30mins away from this resort.

The units are newly renovated and it was a pleasant surprise as I had been to this resort a few years ago and it was in bad shape. This time around the rooms are very nice and comfortable and I really enjoy my stay at the resort.

Ok so we had to use this place two years ago when we had messed up a booking at another place, so had to bridge the gap. I wrote a review back then also. We planned to stay in langkawi longer this trip and although we looked around we knew what this place was like and took the plunge....yes knowing full well of some of its down falls. I have seen some recent reviews and echo there comments but mainly the pool.... The motor seems not to work so pool gets filled up by a hose , we saw the pool guy come to clean it once ( not sure what he used for suction) they throw the chemicals in to keep it clean but far more could be done. We had a ground floor apartment leading to the pool, we had to use our own padlock for the gates to the apartment as the sliding doors still opened when we tried to lock them. Just as well as we have our goggles stolen one day when we had gone out for lunch. NOT HAPPY To be fair to holiday company who now own the place they have most certainly tried to spruce the place up a bit ( some may find this hard to believe but trust me ) they have clearly done a deal with a Chinese holiday agent as we did find that every several days a group would turn up for a few days before moving on. They have installed a kids play thing by the pool that wasn't there 2 years ago. And we could clearly see they have made some improvements....our place was clean to be fair and again based on what you are paying you shouldn't expect 5 Star conditions. We felt that most of what was the hotel has possibly been sold to private owners which they may let out and they may only keep the ground and first floor for renting themselves.....we could be wrong. Unless you plan to stay in Pantai Cenang, Kuah or one of the more prestigious hotels that have kept high standards and spend your days on the beach or by the pool then you need to hire a car or scooters to see and move around the island...... We try and stay away from the more populated areas such as Kuah and Cenang as we like it to be quieter. There are eating places very close to the hotel unless you prefer not to eat local food from a hawker stall. The one that used to be over the bridge has closed but 5 mins away just off the airport round about serves great local foods......fresh and awesome..also you have stall by the beach on the beach road that goes around the airport runway. We knew what this place was like from our last visit and as long as it is clean (which it was for us) we spent most days out shopping and eating. The biggest issue for anyone not just thinking of staying here but most other places is that after a handful of years they seem to let most hotels run down and seem not to reinvest....unless it's the Ritz Carlton, Datai etc who have a world brand name. So the places all get run down and you never seem to see current pictures when you search on line for booking. They do have internet that you can get in the kichenette some times otherwise you may have to pop down to the reception end and get a better connection there. Oh yes........although the title of the hotel says Beach resort it has no access to the beach and depending which apartment you stay you may just see it through the Ombak Vilas next door.....

An apartment with 2 bedrooms. Clean and simple but without internet access. Not much activities surrounding the resort. The houses/shop at the beach nearby has been demolised by authority leaving the area very dirty with debris. Hope it will be clean up very soon.

This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, the pool was full of rowdy kids no one seemed to be supervising them, l started to wonder if they were even from the hotel. The pool water was dirty the plants surrounding the pool were all dead. The steps to the pool were missing and broken . Wish l hadn't wasted my money on this dump.

The pool is an utter disappointment. It was frequented daily by large groups of unsupervised children (up to 20 at a time) who were clearly not staying at the hotel. They were noisy, badly behaved, took advantage of un-let rooms facilities, broke many of the fixtures and left a mess and rubbish every day. The staff seemed to be oblivious to them and the security did nothing to stop them. Avoid if you want to use a pool during your stay.

Location in middle of no where, but with the price you can get a 2 room apartment with living room and kitchen nothing much can comment. Cannot see where is the swimming pool. You must drive to everywhere. Nothing you can get withing the walking distance.
