It was an old hotel but it was renewed, the room was really comfortable and the view was amazing, we were able to see the Eagle Square and the Port. The duty-free shops were nearby. Of course, it's 30 minutes apart from the popular places, but a really good option is to rent a car, we did it and we could enjoy the island. The breakfast was included and it was really good, a really good variety of traditional western breakfast and the delicious Malaysian food. The pool was great too. It's a good option and the price was good.

A very good place to stay. Staffs were friendly and cooperative. Room and bedding were clean and comfortable except the water force was too low to take a good shower. View from the balcony was super! Could enjoy the eagle square, sunset in the sea and beautiful high mountains around the place from the two balconies attached with our room.

Not bad hotel. Easy access and attacehd with shopping mall. Free parking. Very near Kuah jetty and not so far from Airport. Very flexible and polite front desk staff, has always there when we need help and direction. Overall hotel service and facilities was average but can be improved in near future.

Booked the hotel through Agoda and got impressed with the photos. Reality a bit different. We got room 819. Earlier was room 815. Total room rate from Agoda:rm225 Acceptable price range... Good. Room is quite spacious. Staff is friendly. Staff do understand and acknowledge the current hotel situation despite current COVID 19, and their shortcomings. The staff is very considerate and courteous.. Maintenance team really helped us change another room bsc of the faulty elements. Items that need improvement. Balcony: The area needed immediate attention as there are water dripping from the AC Compressor to the tiles which can be slippery and is a hazard for injury. The balcony door has marks and it was quite an eyesore to look. Bathroom. The shower holder can't be locked and adjusted hence it was quite inconvenient to use. Breakfast. The items provided was fried bee Hoon, fried mee, fried rice, fried egg, and toasted bread. Coffee and tea, orange cordial not orange Juice. Given these options, the guest better have breakfast outside. I was surprised during check in, the receptionist ask me to choose ala-carte breakfast, bsc no bufffet as the occupancy was low... Swimming pool. Please refer pic. I do understand the Langkawi tourism industry badly affected but there are certain aspects shouldn't be overlooked..

Booked this hotel back in September 2019,on arrival was informed that the pool and gym was being renovated, one of the reasons I chose this particular hotel was these facilities,I did not receive any emails that I could not use these facilities. Pretty average hotel however they requested my wish for a ‘high floor’we was on the top floor with fantastic views, breakfast was better than the norm.

My girlfriend and I didn't want to stay at busy Pantai Cenang so we opted to stay closer to downtown Kuah where the old town of Lankawi is. It's probably quieter there than Cenang where almost all the tourists go. The location of the hotel is perfect. It's a short walk to Legenda Park, a nice quiet park inhabited by troops of Langur and macaque monkeys, flying squirrels, monitor lizards and a couple of hornbills. It's also close to the Dataran Langkawi with its huge statue of a Brahminy Kite, a sea eagle after which the island is named after. The hotel is located about 1.3 kilometers from the Kuah Jetty from which one can catch a ferry to Penang Island or back to Thailand. It's also very close to downtown Kuah and the Tourism Jetty complex where it's a 5RM ride to Dayang Bunting Island on small boats, which we missed because we didn't find it earlier or read it on Tripadvisor. There was a long night market called the Pekan Kuah Night Market on Wednesday nights which was the night we arrived and we thought we died and went to street food heaven! It was great and delicious. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff was very helpful and attentive. The hotel itself has aged a bit and probably needs some painting in some worn out places but the rooms were big, adequate and comfortable. My girlfriend especially liked the Mynah birds waking us up every morning with beautiful songs from the balcony. All in all, our 3 day side trip to Langkawi from Penang was magical. Thank you, Seaview Langkawi. It was a lot of fun and we look forward to going back.

The rooms looks nothing like it was advertised as the furniture is quite old and stuffy. Breakfast was not too bad though but if you need your eggs to be in hard/half boiled, you need to pay RM2 for it. I've never come across whereby you need to pay for your eggs haha... Pool area was the best although the size is small.

A hotel situated close to the Kuah town. Plus point: The room is spacious. The staff are quite friendly. Breakfast is quite enjoyable with a variety of dishes. Minus point: the hotel is abit dated and old. The air-conditioning unit is not really working, hence the room was quite stuffy.
