My friend booked this apartment via this email <kondoistana@hotmail.com> and paid RM200 in advanced for a 2rooms apartment..when we reached there, the staff there said got no record on our booking. We explained that we had paid deposit and the staffs argued that they didn't received our payment. Luckily we got printed out the email confirmation with the person-in-charge name on it. The staff said they don't have any official website for make online booking, but we argued and we asked them to call out their manager. The staff is reluctant and keep on said, they don't know who have received our payment. Finally, they asked their manager out, and the manager said, the receiver of our payment is an agent. The manager called the agent, and let us have a conversation with him. The agent said, oh sorry, he had forgotten to help us to book, and he asked for another extra RM100 for the booking. We are so frustrated and asked, it is their fault, and now they still dare to ask for extra $$? We argued and at last, they gave us an apartment, with 3rooms. Since we at first booked for 2rooms, so they locked on of the room. When we reached our apartment ad placed our luggage, one of our room suddenly is closed and locked up..we gotta called the staff again, and they have to change the whole door lock.. That's still ok. When at night, the masterbed room's aircond is not working..We gotta move the bed and sleep at the living room.. That's our experience with this KONDO ISTANA Beware!! Before we decided to book this apartment, i personally has found two contradict comments pages about this kondo..one is saying very good, another is saying bad...both has similar name for this "kondo istana" thingy, unfortunately now i couldn't find the one saying "good" about this kondo... So, it depends on your luck whether you able to get better room than me~ Cheers~…
