I had my opportunity to stay in this chalet last weekend. It's different from most what you expect a homestay to be. But it's not so bad. Quite pleasant actually. We went to Teluk Batik on a ad-hoc basis and were looking for somewhere to spend the night in. As there were some functions at the beach itself, most of the chalet were fully booked. I went to Crystal Bay Chalet Telok Batek near Lumut with group of family. I was very shocked when our room have no air cond ….. only ceiling fan. “a scene from a spooky house”

it looks like a haunted place to stay. Gloomy and old. Yup, its old and rusted.(NOT A CLASSIC LOOK!) not suitable for family getaway. **FIND A ANOTHER PLACE TO STAY!
