The hotel is not that strategically located since it is away from the "happening" like Love Lane but as we drove, it wasn't a problem for us. As it was kind of located in a housing area, there are few available parking along the road. We had a private en suite room which is great. The room is clean, comfortable... More

We stayed at the second house of Penang Old House, I think no. 8 Jalan Phuah Hin Leong. We stayed 5 nights in the deluxe room, which had its own small bathroom. The room was minimalist but charming, done in a Japanese style. We had the whole house to ourselves as only one other person was staying there. The fellow... More

This new setup has again shown me why home stays or bed & breakfast is the way to go in Penang. You learn from the locals where are the best places to go to. And Penang Old House is not short of that.. If you are looking for tranquility, book a weekend at this magnificent B&B. Although not the most... More

This place is kind a strategic due to it is located at the city center...around the area, there are plenty of well known food such as Chinese Dumpling, Penang famous biscuits and many more penang/malaysia hawker food. Along the way there are also a Hypermarket (Giant). This ease the daily groceries shopping. Talking about the accomodation they provide, the room... More
