Comforting stop after the climb from the bottom to the Laban Rata.Great place to recover eat rest and sleep before and after the amazing climb of Mt Kinabalu.Absolutely amazing views from this hotel and of the mountain.Food is awesome.

It is a good place for you to recharge after a few hours hike. The dorm that I stayed contains two double decker beds which can accommodate four people.The temperature is around 10 degree celsius, wear warm clothes as no heater is provided in the room. Most of the hikers will stop at Laban Rata to rest before continue their journey to the summit. It's a hostel with bunk beds. It took about 5 hours journey from Timpohon Gate to Laban Rata. Compared to the facilities on other mountain treks I have done Laban Rata was a real treat.
