We loved the Borneo Sea Hare Hostel because of the two managers who run the place. You have to book it using hostelworld.com because the managers have day jobs and need to plan for your arrival in advance. They stop by almost every night to make sure everything is in order, and they are so knowledgeable about the Kuching area.... More

Wesley and Teresa were absolutely wonderful. Very helpful for giving advice about transportation, places to visit and they pointed us to some great places to eat! The hostel has a very relaxed atmosphere with a 24 hour breakfast on the table. We felt really at home during our stay here. Fantastic value for money.

a group of 10 of us stayed at this simple backpackers' dorm tucked away along a row of shophouses in Kuching. it was affordable, homely and very comfortable. never mind that there's no air conditioning. Wesley was very accomodating and made us feel right at home. Would stay longer next time. :)
