A great backpackers hostel with friendly staff. Great location. We stayed in a clean double room with bathroom and air conditioning. 24h self service breakfast included (toast, butter, jam, coffee, tea, milo). Nice hangout area where you can meet other travellers or watch a movie.

Nomads is a backpackers hostel above some ships in the Green Hill area. We stayed in a double room with A/C on the second floor. The rooms are plenty big enough and really clean but with only a tiny shower/WC room as opposed to a full ensuite, but not a problem. One of the best things about Nomads is the... More

This is more than just an inviting place to stay. There are dorms and rooms available. Breakfast bread (toast), jams, coffee, tea, milo (for a chocolate drink) but what makes this place worth selecting for your stay in Kuching (Sarawak, Borneo) is the co-owner Chris and his side-kick Mr-T. Enjoy cooking a meal from back home - they have a... More

Nomad's not so much a B&B, more of a backpackers lodge. It is located on the top floors above a shophouse in a small street behind Harbour View Hotel. We stayed four nights in a cosy ensuite room on the second floor (double bed with air-cond, private shower, toilet, dresser and towel provided), tastefully decorated with a couple of paintings.... We stayed at Nomad for a few days and found Chris, the owner, to be very welcoming. It's located very near the central market and river, and has many bars to have a drink at within walking distance (thus, saturday nights can be a little noisy until 01 or 02am...). This hostel really has a backpackers' edge to it, as... More

You seldom find places where you feel as welcome as you do in Nomad! And the Man who runs this place, Chris, is just everything you need from staff. Wonderful person. The common area is really nice to spend time in, there is a good selection of guidebooks to read, tv to spend time watching international programs (English soccer, for... More

Beautifully decorated backpacker's that looks more like a European home than a hostel. The owner Chris has so much pride in it and is the best host - taking us out to local market for food, sharing anecdotes, inviting us to guitar jam sessions with his mates etc - in fact, he totally made our stay and gave us a... This is a great place to stay for a few days. Just hang around and watch DVDs or TV (especially if the English football is on!) The rooms and bathrooms are clean and as good as any other place (breakfast is available all day, just help yourself). What makes Nomad stand out is the friendly, fun atmosphere. the staff are...
