This hotel is very well positioned in Kuching as it sits on the end of the waterfront which means there are lovely views from all the river side rooms. Staff were great and there is a lovely swimming pool which is well maintained. I have stayed there several times over many years and the hotel has recently been refurbished. More

Staying here during fasting month..nice hotel..was given a newly-refurbished room.. Comfortable bed, cosy pillows, staffs are helpful..the room service were fast attending to my request..safe car park outside the hotel..sure will stay at this hotel again... More

Grand Margherita Hotel is once a Holiday Inn but the franchise isn't renewed. This is a hotel that must work because it is actually owned by the State itself and therefore, you can imagine why it's centrally located by Kuching River and in the midst of all amenities. It is in a very excellent location, right in the middle of town, surrounded by restaurants, fast foods, kopi tiams on all sides. It is also beside the Sarawak River. GM has to be one of the better 4 star hotels I have been to. The rooms are very modern and tidy, beds very comfy and bathrooms very nice. The bathrooms use Grohe fittings, this shows that the designer did not cut corners. I am very impressed. They have a pillow menu for you to select your choice of pillows.... More
