We visited Tanjong Jara after booking some cheap flights to Terenganu and realising that the boats to Redang and the hotels on Redang all seemed to have some issues. Not, of course, that Tanjong Jara doesn't. Its 89km south from the airport so the hotel can provide a 300RM taxi, or an airport operator can do the same for 250RM.... More

What to say, the resort is a beautiful place with a terrific beach and a lovely pool (despite I prefer the beach). The rooms are spacious and the bathroom excellent. The staff is friendly and the service professional. The are two restaurant. The one at the pool is average, the asian one is excellent.

Another great stay at the TJR which never disappoints from the moment you arrive. ALL the staff were very helpful, polite and nothing was too much and took great pleasure in making a fuss of the children.
