This was indeed a great campsite. We booked for one night and loved the grassy (although slightly smelly from the boar water) site, private lockable bathroom, big braai and patio area. The sites are a short stroll from the beach and convenient to the town. A bargain for what you pay!!

We were so surprised (positively)! The camping places are very luxury: you have your own small building with shower, toilet and safe. Big covered BBQ place and private veranda. They even have wifi. It was not expensive at all, especially not for what is included. I can recommend this camping to everybody!

Conveniently located near the beach and a beach bar, the site offers camping with private ablutions. Each campsite is equipped with a washing up area, braai pit and power. Weather was harsh, stayed at campsite, breakfast was very nice, location excellent. Amenities basic, but probably exactly as necessary. First campsite experience, so cant be a good judge. Would prefer chalet at any given moment :-)

We stayed 5 nights here while getting repairs done to our truck, the facilities are spotless and cannot be faulted. Having individual ablutions per campsite made a longer stay easier, being close to the town centre and facilities was useful. The only downside to our stay was the loss of items in the laundry service.

We have visited Alte Brucke a few times and were never dissapointed. The staff are super helpful and can book a table at a local restaurant without even consulting a telephone directory.
